Man and his friends arrested for arranging the abduction of his father

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested a man and his two friends for planning the abd#ction of his father, Alhaji Ahmadu, in Malabu, on January 31.

Ahmadu was abducted by the suspects in Jera village in Furore local government area.

Following the abduction, the police swung into action and in the process, three suspects identified as Lawali Haruba(45), Da’u Alhaji Ahmadu(28) and Yahaya Ibrahim(25) were apprehended and are all residences of Jera in Fufore LGA were arrested.

When interrogated, the biological son to the victim and his accomplices all confessed to their involvement in the crime. 

Confirming the arrest to newsmen, the spokesperson of the command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, said while efforts are ongoing to rescue the victim unhurt and apprehend other members of the criminal syndicate, the suspects are in custody while investigations continue.
