A man has accused of livestreaming the rape of his seven-year-old daughter in exchange for cryptocurrency has been arrested in Madrid.

Police said the alleged p@edo dad selected sick followers who paid to watch him abusing his daughter after initially attracting them with photos showing him lying alongside her on a bed.

Officers released footage showing the unnamed suspect, a 46-year-old Spaniard, being led out of an apartment block where he lived and marched to a waiting police car in handcuffs. He is seen wearing jeans and a black top in the video.

Police said he was arrested after they completed a near-four month investigation.

Summarising the s£x crimes he is accused of committing, a spokesman for the National Police said: “Officers in Madrid have arrested a man for allegedly broadcasting the s£xual abuse he subjected his own daughter to through a live streaming app.

“In exchange the arrested man obtained cryptocurrency via the same app which he exchanged for an increase in online popularity and gifts that were offered. The investigation began after police received an anonymous email which was set up specifically to receive tip-offs from the public about child porn crimes.”

The release continued: “The police probe began last November when the information was received. Detectives discovered the arrested man used private livestreaming rooms to attract users interested in this type of material, using as a hook photos of him lying on a bed with his daughter.

“After contacting with paying customers through an external messaging app he broadcast the s£xual abuse he subjected his under-age daughter to in exchange for cryptocurrency which could be exchanged online for gifts or to improve his web positioning.

“He was arrested after officers managed to identify him and locate him in Madrid.

“During a search of his home two mobile phones with a large amount of p0rnographic material on them were seized.

“He has been remanded in prison after appearing before a judge on suspicion of corruption of minors, consisting of the production, possession and distribution of child p0rnography, and a crime of s£xual assault.”

Local reports say he was arrested in a neighbourhood in Madrid called Tetuan and say police had never come across the application he was using to allegedly commit his horror crimes before they started investigating him.
