“This is not a pity story” – 31-year-old POS man living with parents opens up on his struggles

A 31-year-old POS man has taken to social media to share his life struggles, revealing that he still lives with his parents.

The video, shared on X by user @asakygrn, shows him speaking candidly about his life and the challenges he faces.

A Struggling Life

According to him, he earns ₦500 daily working as a POS attendant, which adds up to around ₦15,000 a month.

He shared that he is starting not from zero/scratch but from debt, highlighting the struggles he has been going through.

Despite his circumstances, he stressed that he is not sharing his story to seek sympathy but to hold himself accountable and document his journey toward financial improvement.

The ₦150,000 Challenge

Determined to turn his life around, the 31-year-old man has set himself the bold goal of earning ₦150,000 online within 60 days.

To achieve this, he plans to make at least ₦2,500 daily more than five times his current earnings.

In his words:

“I never thought I’d say this. This feels embarrassing to say out loud. I’m 31 years old and I live with my parents. I don’t have any marketable skill, so I work as a POS attendant for ₦500 a day—that’s ₦15,000 a month. This is not how I thought my life would be. What I hate to admit the most is I’m not even starting from zero but from debt. I’ve given myself a challenge to earn ₦150,000 online in 60 days using this phone. I need to make at least ₦2,500 every day. I have to actively build a skill along the way and will update my progress every day. If I hit my targets, you’ll see it; if I don’t, you’ll also see it. No hiding—I don’t know if this will work, but I feel it’s better than doing nothing. Day 1 starts now.”
