Lady blasts male friend for posting her on WhatsApp after he took her out for fried rice and egg

A man has sparked reactions after sharing a chat he received from a female friend he took out for lunch.

According to him, he had taken the lady out to eat and later posted a short video from the outing on his WhatsApp status.

However, things quickly turned awkward when the woman messaged him privately, scolding him for posting her.

In the chat, she questioned why he would put her on his status over what she described as “just fried rice and egg,” implying the meal was too ordinary to be shown off publicly.
