Former Nigerian HOD breaks down after being rejected for cleaning job in UK

A former Head of Department (HOD) in Nigeria has broken down in tears after being rejected for a cleaning job in the United Kingdom due to a lack of prior mopping experience.

According to the video shared online, the man expressed his frustration while riding a bus home after the unsuccessful job application.

He lamented the irony of being turned down for an entry-level cleaning role despite previously holding a senior academic position in Nigeria.

Sharing a video of himself going home, he captioned…

“Former HOD rejected for a cleaning job. Reason: Lack of mopping experience.
