Suspected kidnapper rescued from mob in Plateau

Troops of Sector 9 under Operation Safe Haven have rescued a suspected kidnapper from mob action and taken him into custody in Shendam Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The incident occurred at Gidan Mangoro village, where an irate crowd had apprehended the suspect and was about to lynch him before the arrival of troops.

The troops swiftly intervened, dispersing the mob and rescuing the suspect from being killed.

According to reports, the suspect was immediately taken into custody for further investigation into his alleged involvement in kidnapping activities in the area.
