A lady has stirred conversations online after revealing why she walked away from an engagement, stating that she has no desire for marriage or starting a family.

The disclosure was made in a video circulating on social media, where she candidly shared her thoughts on relationships and personal independence.

According to her, the realisation came shortly before her planned wedding, despite admitting that her partner was a decent man and there were no major issues in the relationship.

She explained that, unlike many brides-to-be, she never experienced excitement or anticipation about getting married.

“I would never get to a stage in my life where I would start to desire marriage or children cause I was never like that. So when I was first engaged and it was close to the period I was supposed to get married, I never had the mind that I want to get to the finish point. You know when you’ll be having wedding jitters like oh let’s marry, let’s marry, it never happened to me. Not because he wasn’t a good person, he was alright. I just realised that I no rate marriage just because I no rate men like that,” she added.
