Lady sparks buzz, claims divorced men don’t discourage marriage, only women

A Nigerian lady has stirred reactions online after sharing her opinion on divorce and relationship advice.

According to her, men rarely come online after divorce to discourage others from marriage, unlike some women who openly speak against it.

In her words, she said:

“You can never see a divorced man come out to advise other men not to get married, that marriage is not good. No. But you see this my gender, especially the ones that are the main reason for the divorce, boom! They will set camera and start looking for people to recruit into the streets.”

She expressed concern that many people tend to listen to such opinions without questioning the motives behind them.

The lady further advised women to be mindful of the kind of advice they take, especially when it comes to relationships and marriage.

“And you now will listen to them? Make una sense oo, be guarded,” she added.

Her statement has sparked mixed reactions across Nigeria, with many sharing differing views on marriage, divorce, and personal experiences.
