A Nigerian woman has sparked concern online after sharing an unusual experience with a loaf of bread that reportedly remained fresh for over two months.
In a video, she explained that the bread had been sitting on her shelf the entire time without going bad. According to her, it still looked, smelled, and even felt fresh, which she found disturbing.
She noted that under normal circumstances, unsold bread is usually replaced by suppliers within a couple of days. However, in this case, the suppliers stopped responding to her calls, leaving the bread untouched for weeks.
Out of curiosity, she said she tested the bread and admitted it tasted good, which made the situation even more worrying. She questioned what kind of ingredients or preservatives could keep bread in such a condition for that long.
The woman added that after looking into it, she discovered similar complaints online, with some people claiming certain bread products last for months or even up to a year without spoiling.
Expressing concern about possible health implications, she warned that whatever is responsible for preserving the bread at that level may not be safe for consumption.
