Woman throws $162,000 in cash from Balcony after ‘fight with her husband’ (Video)

Authorities in Guangdong, China, have launched an investigation after a woman reportedly threw cash estimated at $162,247 from her high-rise apartment.

The money triggered a frenzy as residents and passersby rushed to pick up some notes for themselves.

According to Mail Online, Property management officials confirmed the cash is genuine, though unverified reports claim the incident may have stemmed from a dispute with her husband.

Another claim suggested that the woman was emotionally distressed after hearing about a family friend’s illness.

Police have since called on anyone who picked up the money to return it, regardless of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
