“Should I just buy TVC News?” – Peller reacts angrily to criticism, calls out female anchor

Nigerian TikToker Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has reacted to criticism from TVC News anchors over his recent comments about Nigerian civil servants.

In a viral video, Peller questioned whether he should acquire the media station, saying:

“Guys, should I buy TVC news? What do you guys think about this? Let’s think about this. Should I buy TVC?”

Influencer Calls Out Female Anchor

The influencer went further to call out a particular female anchor who had criticised him during a panel discussion.

He said: “Especially that lady that drags me all the time, if I buy TVC, I will first sack that lady. That lady wey dey always talk bad about me, if she no talk about me she no go trend.”

Issues Strong Warning

Peller also made a controversial remark about confronting the anchor physically when he returns to Nigeria.

“Let me reach Nigeria first. I’ll branch TVC and I’ll come and slap your face in that office. You think it’s everybody that is your mate,” he said.

Double Down on Maldives Statement

Defending his earlier comments about the Maldives, Peller maintained that the destination is expensive and challenged the station to sponsor the critic.

“TVC, that lady is working you, please sponsor her, let her come to Maldives. TVC, if it’s sure for you, sponsor that lady, make her come to Maldives.”

Challenges TVC to Sponsor Critic

He further argued that even if she were sponsored, sustaining such a lifestyle would be difficult.

“See, if they sponsor you to come to Maldives, like for 5 months, dem no go fit pay you. They will just want use you to oppress me. Dem no go pay you because dem go know am for body…”
