Hijab-wearing lady stopped from entering JAMB CBT center as video goes viral

A viral video circulating online has sparked widespread debate after a female candidate wearing a hijab was stopped from entering her examination centre during the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination.

In the trending footage, the hijab-wearing candidate was seen standing in a queue with others preparing to sit for the exam.

She was, however, denied entry into the examination hall. A security operative conducting clearance reportedly instructed her to remove her hijab before she could be allowed inside.

The lady, who appeared visibly upset, turned away from the entrance. Another security officer was also seen reinforcing the instruction that she must remove the hijab before gaining access to the venue and taking her exam.
