Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy has opened up about his difficult experiences during his university days and how it affected his confidence over the years.
Speaking during an interview with media personality Ebuka on Bounce Radio, he revealed that he was often mocked while in school, a situation that left a lasting impact on his self-esteem and public confidence.
“Girls used to call me ugly in university and no one wanted to be my girlfriend. It affected my confidence, and that’s why I’m shy and struggle to speak in public till today.
It is also why I find it hard to believe when a woman tells me she truly loves me. Most of them are now rushing me now, why didn’t they love me then?” he said.
Don Jazzy explained that those early experiences shaped how he sees himself and made it difficult for him to fully trust expressions of love, even despite his current success and popularity.
