You people can do better – Actress, Sarah Martins chides AMVCA organizers for not giving Yul Edochie an award

Actress Sarah Martins has caused a stir on social media by slamming the organizers of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) for failing to recognize Yul Edochie at the 2026 award ceremony held in Lagos on Saturday, May 9. 

In a surprising Instagram post on Sunday, the actress, who recently severed ties with Yul Edochie and his new wife, Judy Austin, insisted that despite their personal drama, Yul remains a “fantastic actor” who deserved an award. This endorsement comes months after Martins publicly apologized to Yul’s first wife, May Edochie, for previously supporting Judy and criticizing May Edochie.

Despite having previously dragged the couple, Martins declared in her post that she meant “no hate” but felt the snub was undeserved.
