My daughter is not on drugs, she never introduced drugs to her brothers – Ilebaye’s mother speaks

Ms. Lami, the mother of reality TV star Ilebaye Odiniya, has v denied allegations that her daughter is a drug user or that she introduced harmful substances to her younger brother. 

The rebuttal follows a viral voice recording by Ilebaye’s father, Emmanuel Odiniya, in which he claimed the Big Brother Naija All Stars winner influenced her younger brother with drugs, leading to his eventual expulsion from school.

“She has also influenced her younger brother with drugs, and he was expelled from school because of it. She once advised me to divorce her mother,” he said

Speaking through tears in a chat with LIB, Ms. Lami described the accusations as a calculated attempt at character assassination. She argued that her ex-husband is fabricating stories to play the victim and deflect from recent videos showing Ilebaye with a battered face following a physical altercation at his residence on Saturday, May 9.

“Yesterday, I was very traumatized. For a father to come out to l!e against his child is so traumatizing. Ilebaye is not on drugs and she did not introduce her brothers to drugs. My not being in the house is because of the emotional ab#se from the father always, We have been abused constantly in that house, Ilebaye is going through a lot, emotional abuse from the father. She is not on drugs. 

Whatever he came out to say, let God be the judge, since he has come out to destroy his daughter’s image in public. Because he assaulted the child, then he came out to play the victim game for people to see the child as a bad child.

Well, all I know is that God is in control and he knows why everything is happening at this time.”

Ms. Lami noted that while she is traum@tised by the ordeal, she is determined to find the strength to support her daughter who she says is currently going through so much.
