Lady blasts singer Chike for posting “Pity my soul”

Nigerian singer Chike has come under heavy criticism on social media after posting the phrase “pity my soul” amid the ongoing controversy linking him to media personality Frank Edoho and his family.

The cryptic post quickly stirred reactions online, with many social media users interpreting it as a response to the backlash surrounding allegations involving Chike and Frank Edoho’s ex-wife, Sandra.

Although the singer did not provide further explanation about the emotional message, the post reopened conversations about the controversy that has continued to trend online in recent days.

Reacting strongly to the development, an X user identified as HeritageWife criticised the singer and accused him of betraying Frank Edoho despite allegedly being warned to stay away from Sandra.

“I liked you Chike, but you don too fall hand. Even if Frank was not supposed to beg you to leave Sandra, he still did, but you still had the mind to continue straffing her,” the user wrote.

The critic further accused the singer of showing no remorse over the alleged relationship.

“You been Dey pound married woman t0t0 without pity. Now, you want make we pity you??” the post added.

In another part of the lengthy reaction, the X user advised Chike to apologise publicly to Frank Edoho and seek forgiveness from his family.

“Better carry a male goat and go and prostrate before Frank. Take your father with you, and if possible, all your village people. No be small sin you commit,” the user wrote.

The post continued: “Ask him to forgive you and desist from having gen!tal meet and greet with Sandra.”

The user also issued a warning about karma and consequences in relationships, writing, “Afterwards, ask your father to bless you because if he doesn’t, another man will certainly knack your wife. Shalom!”
