“My friends were sleeping with my girlfriend back to back” – Man shares painful betrayal story

A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after opening up on why he no longer keeps close friends, alleging that some of his friends secretly slept with his girlfriend behind his back.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he revealed that he met the lady on Facebook and was initially attracted to her intelligence.

After talking online for a while, he decided they should meet physically.

He explained that although she did not look exactly like the photos she sent, they eventually grew close and fell deeply in love with each other.

“I cleaned this girl up, polished her to my taste and even introduced her to my mom and friends,” he said.

The man revealed that things were going smoothly in the relationship until they began having issues after about a year together.

According to him, one of his close friends who attended the same church as his girlfriend constantly pretended to help settle misunderstandings between them.

“This same guy would come to me and say, ‘How far guy, this your babe dey always ask of you oo, talk to this girl now,’ not knowing this guy was secretly sleeping with my babe behind my back,” he added.

He claimed he later discovered the alleged affair through the friend’s girlfriend, who informed him that the same friend had been involved with his partner all along.

His story has stirred reactions online, with many social media users sharing mixed opinions on friendship, loyalty, and relationships.

The revelation continues to trend online as Nigerians debate whether friends should be introduced to romantic partners in relationships.
