Comedian DeeOne emerges House of Assembly candidate in Lagos

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Aderombi Adedayo Martins, popularly known as DeeOne, has emerged as the Lagos State House of Assembly candidate for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I ahead of the 2027 general election. 

DeeOne secured the ticket of the BOOT Party after winning the party’s primary election. 
 

He took to Instagram on Wednesday night, June 3, to announce this while expressing gratitude to party members for entrusting him with the ticket. 

“I want to thank my party, BOOT Party, for the confidence in voting for me to emerge winner of the primary election for Ibeju-Lekki Constituency I,” he wrote.
