Peggy Ovire accuses estranged husband Frederick Leonard of having an affair with a married woman (video)

Nollywood actress Peggy Ovire has publicly called out her estranged husband, actor Frederick Leonard, accusing him of deliberately delaying their ongoing divorce proceedings. 

In a series of posts shared via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday morning, June 9, Ovire also leveled heavy allegations against Leonard, claiming he is involved in an extramarital affair with a married woman who has children.

To support her claims, Ovire shared a video of Leonard alongside his alleged lover attending an event together over the past weekend.

Further compounding her statements, the actress reshared a cryptic post she originally published in February. In that post, she questioned whether any woman could remain in a marriage where her husband maintains an affair with a married woman—noting that the individual in question was initially introduced as a “friend,” attended their wedding, and allegedly continued the romantic involvement after the marriage.

The former couple, both prominent figures in the Nigerian film industry, tied the knot in a highly publicized wedding ceremony in November 2022.
