“I can no longer feed my children” – Canada-based single father of 3 begs for help to return to Nigeria

A Nigerian-Canadian single father of three has appealed to the public for financial assistance to help him relocate his family from Canada to Nigeria after facing prolonged financial hardship.

Barrister Isaac Olusegun, a legal practitioner, shared his emotional story in a LinkedIn post, revealing that he has struggled to secure stable employment since 2024 despite submitting numerous job applications.

According to him, the difficult situation has left him unable to provide adequately for his children, forcing him to depend on loans and the generosity of kind-hearted people to put food on the table.

“I Can No Longer Meet My Family’s Basic Needs”

In his public appeal, Isaac explained that his family’s financial condition worsened after his Canada Child Benefit had yet to be released while his Ontario Works assistance, which provided about CAD 377 monthly, came to an end.

He said the loss of income made it increasingly difficult to care for his three children.
