“My path shines brighter because I walk it with you” — Pastor Adeboye’s heartfelt 78th birthday message to wife melts hearts

Pastor Enoch Adeboye has touched the hearts of many Nigerians after sharing an emotional birthday message to his wife, Pastor Foluke Adeboye, as she marked her 78th birthday.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) posted the heartfelt tribute on social media, reflecting on their 58 years of marriage and describing the occasion as an opportunity for the world to celebrate the woman who has stood faithfully beside him.

Pastor Adeboye wrote, “Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.”

He added, “My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.”

Pastor Adeboye also described his wife as more than the woman many know as “Mummy G.O.,” saying he has had the privilege of knowing her as his wife, friend and trusted companion through every challenge and victory.

Praying for her continued health and strength, he said, “May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you… May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind.”
