Delta police spokesperson, Bright Edafe, surprised after suspects arrested with cocaine and pistol ask for a photo with him

The spokesperson of the Delta state police command, SP Bright Edafe, was stunned after suspected drug dealers asked to take a photograph with him shortly after they were arrested and interrogated by him.

The two suspects, identified as  Omini Ezeri, 46, and Chinedum Wagbara, 42, were arrested during a stop-and-search exercise while driving a Mercedes-Benz ML SUV with reg no. AAA 604 JZ along Agbarho-Warri road.

Upon searching the occupants and the vehicles, two Beretta pistols, a substance suspected to be cocaine, and one dagger were recovered from them. Both suspects are in custody, and investigation is ongoing.

In a follow-up post shared on social media this afternoon, Edafe narrated how the suspects got “carried away” once they realised he wanted to interview them.

“I have not seen this kind of people before. Caught with cocaine and two pistols, which they claim they use for the drug business. But they got carried away when they saw that I wanted to interview them. They even asked for a picture after the interview,” Edafe wrote.
