Odumeje reveals he was once paid to beat people before becoming a preacher

Controversial Anambra-based cleric Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere, popularly known as Prophet Odumeje, has recounted his past as a fighter, claiming he was once paid to beat people before turning to preaching.

Odumeje made the revelation during an appearance on the Honest Bunch podcast, where he spoke about his life before becoming a popular preacher.

“I used to be a dangerous fighter. They used to pay me to beat people. No matter how many they are, I will give them dates for their own beating inside the main market so that people will see me dealing with it,” he said.

The cleric added that the same market where he once engaged in fights later became a place where he began preaching.
