Blessing CEO finally regains freedom after 4 months in Kirikiri prison

Nigerian self-acclaimed relationship expert Blessing CEO has reportedly regained her freedom after spending four months in prison.

She was said to have been released on Saturday, October 24, 2026, with actress Doris Ogala announcing the development in a post on Instagram.

Sharing a video conversation, Doris wrote, “Blessing CEO is finally out, thank you Jesus. Awwwww ajjeeeyyyy.”

Her release comes after reports that she lost her second son to an asthma attack while she was in custody.

Blessing CEO had reportedly been held at Kirikiri prison since June over multiple allegations, including property and tenancy fraud, as well as alleged cancer-related fraud.

On June 9, 2026, she was reportedly arraigned over an alleged ₦36 million property fraud and granted bail of ₦10 million.

The following day, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly re-arraigned her before the Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos, over allegations involving ₦13 million in cancer-related fraud and the falsification of cancer test results.

In July, she was also reportedly granted ₦20 million bail in connection with an alleged ₦69.15 million tenancy fraud.

The allegations remain subject to legal proceedings, and the reported release does not in itself establish the outcome of the cases.
