Some Nigerian artistes use voodoo to get hit songs – Odumodublvck claims

Popular Nigerian rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has alleged that some artistes resort to voodoo to secure hit songs in the Nigerian music industry.

The rapper made the claim during an appearance on the Tea With Tay podcast, where he spoke about the difficulty of producing commercially successful music.

According to Odumodublvck, scoring a hit song is not easy, noting that some artistes go through their entire careers without recording a single hit.

He also praised Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido for their consistency in releasing hit songs over the years.

“Getting a hit song is not easy. Sometimes people even do jazz to get one. That is why you see some artists crashing out when they struggle to get a hit.

Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido have been dropping hit songs consistently for years.

You have to respect that. Some artistes never get a hit song throughout their careers,” he stated.
