“I don’t want you guys posting about my father” – Diewait Ikpechukwu’s daughter appeals to Nigerian Actors Guild

The daughter of late Nollywood actor Diewait Ikpechukwu has made an emotional appeal to the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), asking the association and others not to publish tributes or announcements about her father’s death until she personally makes the announcement.

In an emotional video shared following the actor’s passing, she pleaded with the guild to take down any posts announcing his death, expressing her desire to be the one to break the news.

“I didn’t want to do this video, but make nobody post my papa. This is a very hard video for me to make. Please, nobody should post my daddy’s poster. I’m still wearing my daddy’s shirt; he wore it yesterday,” she said.
