A true legend of the Twitterverse. John Legendtook to Twitter to slam Donald Trumpas a racist on Friday, March 11, after the GOP presidential hopeful’s son criticized the protesters who shut down his father’s Chicago rally earlier that day.

“Ha 5 students when asked why they were protesting couldn’t even answer,” Trump Jr., 38, wrote Friday evening. “The participation medal/micro aggression generation is pretty sad!”

Legend, 37, didn’t let the comment slide, and fired back point-blank.

“@DonaldJTrumpJr I think they were protesting your racist father,” the Grammy- winner wrote. “This isn’t complicated.”

Trump Jr. added fuel to the fire with his own response, downplaying the comment as another unnecessary stab at his politician father.
