Troops of 1 Division on Operation SHARAN DAJI deployed at Magami, Gusau LGA of Zamfara State on Tuesday 26th September responded to a distress call about armed bandits operating along Jengebe-Gusau road robbing hapless civilians.

The soldiers mobilized immediately and engaged the bandits, in the process, they killed 1 bandit and captured 1 another, while some escaped with gunshot wounds.

They recovered 1 Locally made Pistol, 1 Tecno mobile telephone handset, a female Handbag, 1 wallet and the sum of N20,000 from the criminals.
