Girona 2-1 Real Madrid: Los Blancos humiliated in Catalonia

Girona humiliated Real Madrid, after falling behind from a goal down to win at the Motilivi Stadium, Isco put the visitors ahead but two second-half goals from Stuani and Portu in the second half gave the Catalan based club the desired victory.

Real Madrid began the game with high intensity as they took early control of the game in the opening minutes with lots of exchange of pass between Marcelo and Sergio Ramos.

Girona piled up pressure on Real Madrid in the early minute. A quick pass from Isco to Ronaldo was intercepted as Real continue to find a way to break the deadlock.

Girona missed a chance to take the lead as Pons delivered a free kick into Real Madrid box but it bounced back off the striker and it went behind.
