So adorable! Kate Middletonrevealed in a new interview that Prince Georgecalls his great-grandmother the Queen “Gan-Gan.”
“George is only two-and-a-half and he calls her ‘Gan-Gan,’” the Duchess of Cambridge, 34, explained in an interview for the new ITV documentaryOur Queen at Ninety, adding that the monarch dotes on the youngest royals. “She always leaves a little gift or something in their room when we go and stay and that just shows her love for the family.”

Our Queen at Ninetygives an inside look into Queen Elizabeth II’s royal life, featuring interviews with Prince Williamand eight other members of the royal family. The documentary is in honor of her 90th birthday on April 21. It airs in the U.K. on March 27.

Middleton also briefly spoke about her daughter Princess Charlotte, who was born in May 2015, noting that it’s “very special having a new little girl.”
“I feel very, very lucky that George has got a little sister,” she said. “The Queen was really thrilled that it was a little girl, and I think as soon as we came back here to Kensington Palace, she was one of our first visitors here.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who tied the knot in April 2011, welcomed Prince George in July 2013.

The royal children “are living as normal lives as possible,” a Middleton family friend recently told Us Weekly, adding that Charlotte recently started crawling and that she loves to follow her mom around.
“If Kate is in the study, Charlotte wants to be in the study,” the source said. “If Kate’s cooking, Charlotte wants to be right next to her, watching her at work. She just prefers to be around her mum and can put on a bit of a performance if you try and make it any other way.”
