One offer that has stood out though is from the Chinese Super League, the Asian nation is so eager to have the 34-year-old, the government is willing to finance a deal.

If he settles for the lucrative deal, it will be the ideal ride into the sunset for a player whose trophy cabinet creaks under the weight of his many medals.
