In a bid to protest alleged unlawful harassment of their company staffs and misuse of taxpayer resources by the Lagos State Taskforce, a firm, known as Grant properties Limited has petitioned the Chairman of the States taskforce, Bakare Jide over allegations that they were accused of being land grabbers, even though they owned the land, and were subsequently arrested and detained for several hours.

The firm lamented that the Nigeria Police force Anti-Kidnappers Squad arrested them on 7th of Decemeber, including the firm Executive director, Olukoga Oladimayo, while in presence of their lawyer outside the premises of the Federal High Court, Ikoyi area of the state.

They alleged that it was the state task force chairman that facilitated their arrest and unlawful detention because he is a friend to somebody whom they had issues with, as they demanded that the chairman must appeal to them legally for his misdeeds.
