Individuals from the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) and the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), on Thursday, proceeded with their dissent in Kaduna in spite of notices and fixed security by the Police.

The nonconformists were seen walking through the streets in the state capital and demanded continuing to the Government House, where they mean to present their dissent letter to the Governor, Nasir El-Rufai.

The National President of the NLC, Ayuba Philibus Wabba, stated that the Police can’t prevent us – individuals decided can never be vanquished and consequently, we are resolved, we will make our point.

“We will present our letter of challenge, and in the event that they like they should act yet I think it is an appreciated advancement since laborers have seen that regardless of our olive hand of partnership, to attempt to perceive how those issues are settled on the table, we have seen that with exemption, the choice of the National Industrial Court is being put aside, with exemption, individuals are not permitted to practice their flexibility of affiliation and this isn’t what we anticipated.”

This comes in spite of protection by Policemen and other security agents who mounted reconnaissance at significant streets and the Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) Secretariat in the state funding to keep the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), from proceeding with the challenge.
