The State High Court in Port Harcourt,the Rivers State Capital witnessed a drama as protesters stormed the court premises in support of former Niger delta militant and traditional ruler, King(Amb)Ateke Michael Tom JP(The Sekuro 1 Of Niger Delta) in his case against chieftains of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

A few months ago, APC in their solidarity rally in support of FSARs tagged “Leave FSARs Alone” displayed in one of their banners the image of HRM,King(Amb)Ateke Michael Tom JP,AMAYANABO OF OKOCHIRI with an inscription “WIKE IS MAKING CRIMINALS KINGS”.

Unhappy with the development, Ateke Tom filed a N1 billion naira defamation lawsuit against chieftains of the party.

The protesters were majorly people from Okochiri Kingdom ruled by Tom.

The case was adjourned to the 9th of May 2018 for hearing.
