NFF President Amaju Pinnick files appeal after Jos High Court nullifies his election

A High court sitting in Jos this morning nullified the election of Amaju Pinnick as the president of the Nigeria Football Federation, restoring all reliefs granted his election rival Chris Giwa in the process. An NFF media rep revealed to LIB that they have immediately filed an appeal to the ruling.

“It’s true Pinnick’s election has been nullified. That’s the decision of the Jos High Court.”

Asked why the court nullified the election, the rep said;

“It’s the same merry go round since 2014 with Giwa.But we have filed an appeal. And we have asked for a stay of execution’

As at now Amaju Pinnick is in a closed room NFF meeting with associates and legal representatives.
