A man has been declared wanted after allegedly attacking a pastor whom his wife reported him to over extra marital affair. According to reports, the man’s wife who is said to be a member of the pastor’s church in Sapele, Delta state – reported her husband to the pastor for having an affair outside their marriage in a bid for him to settle the case.

The pastor tried to advice the man when the woman’s husband claimed that his wife is being spoilt by the church.

The man later attacked the pastor and hit him with a wooden plank on his ribs as he collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. The pastor who almost died was operated upon with over ten pints of blood and is said to be in a stable condition.

The suspect reportedly fled and has not been seen since after the attack as a case has been opened against him in the police station.
