The defilement of an underage girl in Ibadan, Oyo state capital has left her family in distress. According to information gathered from Mr. Double A, radio presenter with Splash F.M, the little girl’s mother discovered that her daughter had been raped after noticing her mood and behavior.

The 8-year-old girl was taken to the hospital where it was confirmed she was actually raped – with the little girl not being able to identify the person responsible for the shameful act.

When the girl’s mother was asked whether the family is suspecting anyone, she said no but that they have lodged a formal complaint at a police station in Isale-Ijebu area as officers have opened an investigation to apprehend the culprit.

The little girl is currently receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital.
