Ronaldo who recently joined Serie A Club Juventus in a €100m deal is top after a report on how much an Instagram sponsored post cost brands.

Instagram scheduling tool HopperHQ.com, analysed data and has now released a list of the highest paid celebrities and influencers on the social media platform.

HopperHQ looked at factors such as average engagement, how often they post and number of followers.

On Instagram, Ronaldo has a total of 133million followers and is a frequent poster as he shares pictures with his family and his lavish football lifestyle.

And that has now helped the Portuguese turn his Instagram account into a money making machine.

Rivals Neymar and Messi are behind Ronaldo with a sponsored post worth $600,000 (£457,000) and $500,000 (£381,000) respectively.
