A senator representing Kaduna central, Shehu Sani has said the fight against corruption should only focus on corrupt culprits, addding that no State Government bank accounts should be frozen.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday froze the bank accounts of the Akwa Ibom state government.

Reacting, the lawmaker in a tweet said,”No state Government account should be frozen.The focus should Only be corrupt culprits, if at all there’s any.Collective punishment stalls Government and Governance.There’s no potent weapon to fight corruption than the rule of law”.
