See Photos From The Protest For The Release Of Saraki’s Aide Detained By DSS

The supporters and family members of Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere,the senior Special Assistant to the Senate President on Youth and Student Matters and President of National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, have taken to the streets to protest for the release of Ikenga who has been detained by the department of state security(DSS) since April 25th 2016.
Ikenga’s brother, Obinna claims that DSS officials have not fed or given Ikenga access to his medications. Ikenga’s lawyer, Barr. Igbebunam Ezenwa, had this to say;
’Upon his arrival our client was detained by the DSS on grounds of petition written against the Minister of Youths and Sports, Solomon Dalung which according to the DSS our client is reportedly threatening the Minister upon undisclosed grounds, which further shrouds the entire development.We are here to demonstrate the unlawfulness, illegality and baselessness the underlying petition from Dalung and the illegality of the detention of our client by the DSS in its underground detention facility along aside common criminals and terrorists.”
