Ondo Health Workers Protest 5-Month Unpaid Salaries (See Photos)

Doctors, nurses, physiotherapists and indeed, all cadres of healthcare workers in the Medical Village, Ondo took to the streets in a peaceful demonstration to protest the non-payment of salaries for the past 5 months.
The aggrieved workers also used the opportunity to publicize the owed salaries, as there had been a curious media silence on the state of workers’ welfare and remunerations before then,
They were received at the palace of the Osemawe of Ondo, HRM Oba Kiladejo, who addressed the workers and implored them to be patient until ongoing negotiations yielded a lasting solution.
