The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has raised an alarm, alleging that the APC-led Federal Government plans to plant 800 guns in the state, in order to create crisis in the state.

This was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Assistant on Electronic Media to the Governor, Simeon Nwakaudu.

According to Wike, intelligence from credible sources revealed that the resolution to implement the plot was hatched at the Federal Government’s last security meeting.

The governor, therefore, called on the international community to take note of the proposed illegal action of the APC-led government.

He, however, urged the people of the state to remain calm, but vigilant, adding that the alleged evil machinations will not distract the state from delivering on her constitutional responsibilities to its people.
