It’s no news that French midfielder Paul Pogba and his former boss Jose Mourinho had a rocky relationship during his tenure as the coach of Manchester United.
On Tuesday, the Portuguese coach was sacked by the club after the club’s worst start to a top-flight season since 1990. His last game was an embarrassing 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
According to The Sun, Pogba shouted: ‘He thought he could make a fool of me and turn the fans against me. He f***ed with the wrong baller,’ at the club’s Carrington training ground on Tuesday morning.
But Michael Carrick, who served on Mourinho’s coaching staff, was quick to get involved and reminded Pogba that no player is bigger than the club.
Pogba also posted reacted to Jose Mourinho’s sacking with a controversial Instagram post which he then deleted 10 minutes later. He put up a smiling picture of himself and wrote ‘caption this’
According to the club, he’ll be punished for the controversial Instagram post.
I apologise on behave of my favourite player p.pogba over his reacttion toward our former manager.
