Liverpool Fans In Tears After Manchester City Won Premier League Title (Photos)

Liverpool fans got emotional and in tears but put aside their disappointment to show support for Jurgen Klopp’s side after missing out on the Premier League title by a single point.

The Reds beat Wolves 2-0 at Anfield on the final day of the season but were pipped to the Premier League title after Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over Brighton.

Liverpool fans were seen on their phones throughout Sunday afternoon’s clash as they searched for news of the game on the south coast.

And supporters couldn’t help but look dejected when the defending Champions slammed four goals past the Seagulls.

The Reds faithful were keen to show their appreciation for their players after the final whistle – lighting flares and chanting despite falling just short of the title.

The home crowd launched into renditions of ‘Allez, Allez, Allez’ and ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ as the Liverpool players took a tour of the pitch.
