The main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has shunned a parley organized by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, with political parties.

About 60 political parties are in attendance at the parley holding in Abuja on Monday, according to The Nation.

The parley was put together to review the conduct of the 2019 general elections.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, was represented by Otunba Niyi Adebayo.

Recall that the electoral umpire had announced that it will soon commence a national dialogue on the last general elections.

The aim was to improve on the shortcomings identified in the Feburary and March 2019 polls.
