Nigeria striker, Odion Ighalo, is now the leading scorer in the Africa Cup of Nations, ahead of the final fixtures this week.
Ighalo scored from the spot, as the Super Eagles lost 2-1 to Algeria, in their semi-final clash on Sunday.
The Shanghai Shenhua striker is now ahead of three players, who are tied on three goals each: Cédric Bakambu (Congo DR), Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Adam Ounas (Algeria).
However, only three are still in the race to win the Golden Boot, as Bakambu’s country has been eliminated in the Round of 16.
Nigeria take on Tunisia for third place, while Algeria and Senegal clash in the final.
