According to a recent report from Sport Bild, Mesut Ozil is not interested in the idea of leaving Arsenal during the summer transfer window – despite the fact that he hasn’t been guaranteed a place in the starting XI by manager Unai Emery. Fenerbahce are known to be interested in bringing him over to Turkey, but Ozil himself isn’t really all too keen on the idea.

Ozil has had a rollercoaster ride of a tenure with the Gunners and even that may be putting it lightly, but as we look ahead to the future, it still feels like he’s got some kind of value within this squad.

What this value is yet we can’t say for sure, but one way or another, it seems like the saga surrounding his future isn’t going to be sorted for a good few weeks yet.

Even then, the speculation will continue to run riot until he either leaves the club or is ostracized completely.
