Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wants two Blues players sold before the end of the transfer window,
Lampard does not see Tiemoue Bakayoko and Danny Drinkwater as a member of his first-team for the coming season.According to the report in the Daily Mail which claims that the duo is not needed, which could pave way for them to leave on loan or on a permanent basis.
Signed for a combined £75 million, neither player has come close to showing the necessary quality to command a consistent first-team starting place.Drinkwater was not used by Maurizio Sarri last season but the midfielder failed to leave with the hope that he would prove himself someday but with the appointment of Lampard, the situation seems to remain the same, while Bakayoko was sent on loan to AC Milan last season.Chelsea is currently serving a transfer ban from FIFA and selling of the two midfielders with the ability to sign any replacement might affect the team during the course of the season.
