Another Real Madrid star is set to spend some time on the sideline after sustaining an injury against Real Valladolid one Saturday.

James Rodriguez was forced off in the second after the midfielder sustained an injury in the encounter against the visiting time.the Colombian midfielder will miss out on the trip to Villarreal on Sunday and a doubt for the International games for his country against Brazil and September respectively.”After the tests carried out today on our player James Rodriguez by the Real Madrid Medical Services he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the right soleus. His recovery will be assessed,” said Real Madrid in a club statement.

James was forced off with the injury during the match against Real Valladolid on Saturday on his first appearance for Real Madrid in over two years.James joins Marco Asensio, Eden Hazard, Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo Goes, and Ferland Mendy, on the injury list.
