Inter Milan striker Mauro Icardi agreed on a loan move to Paris Saint-Germain with an option to buy on transfer deadline day as Neymar pushes for an exit from the Ligue 1 encounter.

The 26-year-old star expected to leave San Siro all summer with Juventus and Roma were both interested in signing in the transfer window after former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte decided that Argentina international wasn’t part of his plans but so far no one has been able to match the fee wanted by the Serie A side.According to French newspaper RMC reporting that the PSG have agreed on a one-year loan deal with an option to make it a permanent move for 70 million euros but is expected to sign a new deal with Inter  before departing Milan by 3 pm and arrive in France at 5 pm, with Ligue 1’s transfer window closing at 11 pm tonight. 

Icardi has been deemed surplus to requirements since the arrivals of both Manchester United players of Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.The Argentine joined Inter from Sampdoria in 2013, was stripped of his role as captain by former boss Luciano Spalletti earlier this year, where he scored 17 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions last season.
